The Human Neuroimaging Center serves as a catalyst for interdisciplinary research at Notre Dame, promoting collaboration among faculty and students whose research explores the human brain from multiple disciplines and perspectives. Faculty Affiliates
Faculty affiliates are Notre Dame scholars whose work engages neuroscience — whether through neuroimaging research, theory and analysis, or philosophical and humanistic reflection. Affiliates are key members of our intellectual community and contribute to the research direction of the center through participation in seminars and working groups, offering interdisciplinary expertise, and facilitating collaboration across labs, departments, and colleges.
Training Opportunities
The center provides training opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students interested in gaining experience in human neuroscience. Students participate through seminars, working groups, and mentored research projects that provide training and experience in neuroimaging methods, experimental design and analysis, and attention to ethical and humanistic concerns. These activities are designed to build proficiency in modern neuroimaging methods and to prepare students for careers that benefit from expertise in human neuroscience.
Seminar Series
The Human Neuroscience Seminar Series brings our faculty and students together to present research findings, share experimental methods, and identify emerging areas for collaboration and engagement with the South Bend community. The seminar series is designed to support the continued growth and evolution of the center’s research portfolio as new opportunities emerge.
Community Partnerships
We seek to establish partnerships that connect scientific discovery in human neuroscience to the needs of our community — including the clinical, educational, athletic, and military communities of South Bend and our surrounding region. We welcome community leaders to engage with us to explore opportunities for partnership and collaboration.
